Varberg Press Introduces its Latest Book: FEARLESS! Confessions of a Serial Entrepreneur by Ray Lindstrom
It is now available in 3 versions: Hardcover, trade paperback, and digital for Kindle at Amazon. com.
Lindstrom grew up in Tucson, graduated from Catalina High School and the University of Arizona, and was a part of the radio and TV scene there in the 50’s and 60’s. He is a member of the Arizona Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame and widely known as the man who created the infomercial industry. He says, “You know, those annoying half-hour TV shows that try to sell you stuff you don’t need at 3 O’clock in the morning.”
But, that was only one thing he did in 50 years of entrepreneurship. He started over 100 businesses beginning with Zoom Records in Tucson when he was just 17 years old.
Forbes Magazine called him, “An indefatigable promoter.”
This book is a fascinating combination memoir, business, self-help, history, humor, philosophy, and psychology. You’ll get a chuckle out of it as he recounts the “Golden Years” of broadcasting in the Old Pueblo and his stints as a TV clown and rock and roll disc jockey during the Beatles’ era.
He talks about his connections with famous people from John Wayne to Osama Bin Laden. Really.
He was once chased by an angry mob and feared for his life.
He'll tell you about the 100 million dollar hole in the wall.
And, don't miss the part about his creation of the "world's most important website" that he planned to sell for 2 billion dollars. Move over Mark Zuckerberg.
His 320-page hard cover edition includes 22 Lindstrom's Laws for anyone who is or contemplates becoming an entrepreneur.
Whether or not you care anything about business doesn’t make any difference. The whole thing is a slice of history that is a fun read. If you do care about business, his book will be something to appreciate. If you are an entrepreneur, this book is an ABSOLUTE MUST.
